Inauguration of Training Institute for Mountaineers in Skardu Baltistan. Gilgit-Baltistan Tourism Minister Raja Nasir Ali Khan, Commissioner Baltistan, DIG Baltistan, local mountaineers, porters, students, and a large number of international tourists participated in the event.
Tourism Minister Gilgit-Baltistan said it would be the best mountaineering and adventure school in Pakistan, adding that world-renowned mountaineers would volunteer to train local people at the institute while promoting more mountaineering in the region. 3 schools are being established.
